Within the framework of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, on March 19, 2026, a prayer was held for women to mark the completion of the daily recitation of the “Hatm-i Sharif” throughout the month of Ramadan.
The mukabele was organized under the coordination of Zhamila Zhoraeva, a staff member of the Faculty of Theology at KTMU. The complete recitation of the Holy Qur’an, carried out regularly during Ramadan, was successfully concluded and finalized with the hatm prayer.
Hatm, considered an important act of worship in Islam, is especially practiced during the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan and has been preserved as a tradition to this day. In this event, participants not only strengthened their individual spiritual awareness through Qur’anic recitation but also contributed to the reinforcement of communal spirituality.
Following the completion of the recitation, prayers were offered for the acceptance of the acts of worship, and the program concluded.
Approximately 250 women attended the event and followed it with great interest. At the end of the program, refreshments were served to the participants.
