Dear Students,
The Faculty of Theology, whose foundation was laid in 1995 as a result of the unbreakable bonds of brotherhood between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, began its educational activities and opened its doors to students in the 2011–2012 academic year. Since then, the faculty has aimed to shape the spiritual and academic future not only of the two countries, but also of the entire Turkic World.Behind every decision of our faculty lies the firm will and understanding of the principle “two states, one nation.” The profound cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz and Turkish peoples, their respect for spirituality, and their commitment to justice and truth serve as a source of inspiration for the academic stance of our faculty. In this spirit, we aim to educate wise generations who are morally mature, sensitive to the needs of the Turkic World and the Islamic community, capable of healthy communication with all segments of society, and competent in Islamic sciences.
In the face of rapidly changing global conditions, addressing the spiritual, socio-cultural, and religious challenges encountered by societies is only possible through individuals who can unite knowledge with wisdom, think critically, possess a research-oriented mindset, and remain open to innovation. For this reason, students at our faculty are nurtured not only through coursework, but also through research, reflection, production, and community engagement — with a consciousness of building a shared future. For tomorrow will rise upon the shoulders of those educated here today.
As the Faculty of Theology family, we wish that every graduate of our faculty:
• possesses not only knowledge, but also wisdom;
• seeks not status, but service to humanity;
• sets an example not only through words, but also through character and conduct;
• practices knowledge through action and embodies spiritual and moral depth;
• carries in their heart a shared civilizational consciousness extending from the foothills of the Tian Shan Mountains to Anatolia;
• spreads goodness, peace, and a sense of unity throughout every corner of the Turkic World.
I invite you to become a part of this great journey and to join our academic path guided by knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual insight. Remember: on this noble journey, both the doors of our hearts and the doors of our faculty are always open to you.
