Attitude and Behavior Development Training Held at KTMU

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University organized an in-service training seminar aimed at the professional development of administrative staff. The seminar titled “Attitude and Behavior Development Training” was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyil Najimudinova, a faculty member of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, at the Rectorate Conference Hall and was held with high participation.

In her presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Najimudinova defined the concept of attitude as individuals’ positive or negative evaluations toward events, people, and situations. She emphasized the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of attitudes, highlighting that these structures are shaped over time through learning processes and life experiences. The seminar also addressed the determining roles of family, culture, social environment, education level, media, and individual psychological traits in the formation of attitudes. From a workplace perspective, it was stated that positive and flexible attitudes facilitate stress management, improve communication quality, and enhance motivation and productivity.

It was further noted that the transformation of individuals’ perspectives is critically important for both personal development and institutional success, and that attitudes can be changed through individual awareness, social interaction, and learning processes. The program proceeded interactively with a question-and-answer session and concluded after addressing participants’ inquiries.
