Visits to Cultural and Historical Sites Held Within the Framework of the Eurasian Symposium on History, Language and Culture

As part of the Eurasian Symposium on History, Language and Culture hosted by Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, academicians from various universities in Türkiye visited significant cultural and historical sites.

Within the program, the participants toured the Ata-Beyit Memorial Complex, the ruins of the ancient city of Burana (Balasagun), and the Kyrgyz National History Museum. The visit to the Kyrgyz National History Museum was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bishkek Dr. Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem, and the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan.

During the visit, the academicians had the opportunity to closely examine artifacts reflecting the deep-rooted history and rich cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people. At the museum, officials provided comprehensive information on archaeological findings from the Stone and Iron Ages, as well as traditional textiles and handicrafts, objects representing nomadic lifestyle, ethnographic works, and various documents and collections spanning from the Soviet period to the present day.

As part of the visit, books were presented to the Kyrgyz National History Museum by the Rector of KTMU Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan.
