Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) organized a Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Power) program at the Abdülkerim Satuk Buğra Han Practice Mosque. Approximately 10,000 people attended the program, experiencing the blessings and grace of this sacred night through prayers and acts of worship until dawn.
The event was attended by KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Secretary-General Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstabullugil, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Akyüz, university students, and numerous members of the public. Throughout the night, the congregation engaged in worship in a spiritually serene environment, accompanied by recitations from the Holy Qur’an, hymns, and prayers.
Suhoor Served to 6,000 People
As part of the program, suhoor meals were provided to 6,000 people with the support of sponsors. Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan congratulated the entire Islamic world on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr and stated: “During this Ramadan, we fully experienced the beauty of sharing and brotherhood together with our students and society. At our university, we offered free iftar meals throughout the month, and we brought together 8,000 people at our fifth traditional street iftar. We have also continued our Laylat al-Qadr suhoor tradition, which we initiated three years ago, by hosting 6,000 guests this year. May the mercy and blessings of Ramadan illuminate all our homes and hearts.”
