“Index Islamicus Online” is an international specialized bibliographic database in the field of Islamic Studies and is considered one of the key tools for researchers, faculty members, and students.
The database contains over 600,000 records and includes publications in European languages covering a wide range of topics such as history, religion, culture, society, languages, and literature of the Muslim world. It covers regions of Asia, Africa, as well as Muslim communities worldwide.
Index Islamicus indexes more than 5,000 academic journals, as well as books and monographs, chapters in edited volumes, conference proceedings, and selected online resources.
The database is published by Brill and edited with the participation of specialists from SOAS University of London.
