“A Glimpse into the Traditions of the Kyrgyz People”
Within the framework of implementing the concept “National Spirit – Global Heights,” approved by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, systematic efforts are being carried out in higher educational institutions and scientific communities to promote national values, preserve cultural heritage, and educate the younger generation.
In this context, on March 18, 2026, at 14:00, a theatrical event entitled “A Glimpse into the Traditions of the Kyrgyz People” was held in the K. Tynystanov Assembly Hall.
This cultural and educational event was organized under the supervision of Bermet Kydyralieva, a junior researcher of the Biology Department, with the active participation of second-year students. The main objective of the event was to introduce students to the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and spiritual values of the Kyrgyz people, as well as to foster their national consciousness and strengthen their cultural identity.
During the theatrical performance, students staged various elements of the traditional life of the Kyrgyz people, accompanied by brief historical and ethnographic explanations. Each presented scene aimed to highlight the educational, social, and cultural significance of national traditions.
In addition, the specially invited “Zhetigen Komuz Ensemble” performed well-known Kyrgyz musical pieces with high artistic mastery. Their performance enhanced the artistic quality of the event and emphasized the importance of national musical culture.
In conclusion, the event made a significant contribution to the development of students’ creative potential, increased their interest in national culture, and promoted the ideological foundations of the “National Spirit – Global Heights” concept.
