A Seminar on the Values of Folk Pedagogy for Middle School Teachers Was Held
Professor Akmatali Alimbekov of the Department of Educational Sciences held a seminar titled “The Values of Folk Pedagogy” on March 24, 2026, at the Republican Institute for the Professional Development and Retraining of Pedagogical Staff for teachers working in rural schools.
Prof. Dr. Akmatali Alimbekov informed teachers about the experience of raising children within the traditional pedagogical culture of the Kyrgyz people, emphasizing values such as hospitality, patriotism, public-mindedness (a sense of service to society), respect for elders, goodwill toward others, humility, compassion, politeness, simplicity, unity and solidarity, generosity, broad-mindedness, tolerance, justice, honesty, decency, fairness, and patience. He also answered various questions.
At the end of the seminar, the director of the institute presented A. Alimbekov with the “Teacher of Teachers” medal.
