Department of Industrial Engineering Evaluates Cooperation Opportunities with Toyboss Company
The Department of Industrial Engineering conducted an important visit to strengthen its ties with the industry and create new opportunities for students. On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, our department's faculty members met with officials from the Snackfoods department of Toyboss, one of Kyrgyzstan's leading food producers. The meeting, which began at 10:00 AM at the company's headquarters at Chokan Valikhanov Street, 2/3B, was the first step towards potential collaborations.
Faculty members Selçuk Gören, Bahar Özyörük, and Aybek Adanbayev, representing our department, gave a comprehensive presentation on the fundamental principles, fields of work, and contributions to industrial efficiency of industrial engineering, a newly developing discipline in Kyrgyzstan. Company officials showed great interest in the problem-solving and system development approaches offered by the profession.
Following the presentation, company representatives gave a tour of the production facility where snack products are manufactured and provided detailed information about the production processes. This tour gave our faculty members the opportunity to observe the practical applications of theoretical knowledge on-site.
The final part of the meeting focused on internship and final project opportunities for Industrial Engineering students at the company. Both parties agreed to collaborate on projects that will contribute to the professional development of students and add value to the company's processes. The visit laid a solid foundation for future concrete collaborations and concluded at 12:00 PM.
